it's true - we finally have an official, tricked out blog. you need to go there right now and see how sweeeeeeeet it is! we spent a LOT of time making it function exactly like we wanted it to, and so far it's performing flawlessly. we feel like we'll finally be able to update this thing EVERY SINGLE DAY (or close to it) and we can finally post GIGANTIC images too - which is awesome.

rosecrans prom!

what upppppppppp everyone!

alright, so we just wanted to thank EVERYONE we met and shot at the rosecrans prom on saturday. we're so pumped that we were able to shoot it and we are beside ourselves with how well we feel the images came out. also, we've set a new standard for ourselves with our turnaround time. wow.....even we're surprised! shoot the event saturday - deliver the event on the following tuesday. lol. ridiculous. again though, thanks for being so awesome and easy to work with. you guys rule.

secondly - the link to reorder images is now working. we made a mistake by putting the wrong address on the information sheets that came with your pictures. the link is actually a number instead of "rosecransprom08". right now we have all of the formals up, and within a day or so we'll have all of the images we shot of the grand march up for viewing/ordering as well.

okay, so we know we just started this blog and everything...and we know we've already slacked off on posts - but we've had to take a small hiatus. the sidewalk in front of our studio is being jackhammered to bits, i'm in manhattan for another day, and we're still trying to get caught up from our sale. sooooooo....

so larren found this sweet tetris game and that's all any of us have been doing for the past few weeks. nonstop.

unfortunately she's about twice as good as us and keeps racking up scores of like 50,000 points, but we're hot on her trail and this will not last long. the only bummer about this program is that it's for macs only - but seeing as how all cool people have macs, it's not a bummer at all!

man. that was a crazy sale. here's where we stand.

we TOTALLY out-did last year. by almost double. which is a lot. but we STILL haven't booked a full year up from one mega-sale like we just had so we're still accepting seniors. our team members KILLLLLED it for us, and we can't wait to start hooking them up with all kinds of sweet stuff, but right now our focus is on this coming week which is going to be absolutely nuts with everyone coming in to pay session fees, check out samples and scope out the studio.

we'll post back later with how we're going to handle the rest of the 09 seniors that call to book from here on out.

friday night in columbus was freaking fun. we invited our friends adam and jen king up to spend the night with us in our suite (they got the other bedroom and kicked larren out on the couch, lol) which they did - but we also did something else that was SUPER FUN! jen's birthday was a couple days before so adam suggested we invite everyone up to columbus to surprise jen when we walked into the resturaunt. she had absolutely no idea, and we all had one of the funnest (it's a word, i say so) nights ever! we at mccormick and schmick's which had some of THE BEST halibut i have ever had in my life. wow. and the desert......

i can't go on. lol. here are a couple pictures. first one is of dinner and the second is of birthday girl and her hubby.

we had so much fun today (more video's coming) but this post is just to give everyone a little update and let you see who you've been talking to! we just got back from seeing the movie "21" so we're all tired and ready for bed, but we want to do everything we can this year to stay connected with everyone. so here's a vid - check it out....

yo yo yo...

so here's us, crack o' dawn, taking calls in our sweats and crazy hair. yes, we know we look good - thanks for the compliment. lol.

today was AWESOME. thursdays are normally fairly slow for the sale but we had calls throughout the whole day and we got a fair number of you on the boooooooks for this summer. we're going to post a video in a little bit of us thanking everyone and stuff...but for right now - check the awesome-tude of morning-ness and love it. :)

dude, we are so excited about this year - it's crazy. we've already had like, 7 people call early and book their sessions even before the sale! we can soooooooo not wait for tomorrow, friday and saturday.

there hasn't been a lot of content so far - but once we get to columbus we're gonna be blogging like crazy. lots of pictures and lots of video.

our TMs are completely killing it for us too. man, are they doing a good job.

so, with that, we're out of here until tomorrow morning. keep checking back and you'll get to see what we're up to and how close we get to shut'n'er down.

here are the cards everyone's been seeing floating around their school this week too, just a reminder. and when you do call and book your session tomorrow, do NOT forget to call your friends right away and remind them to call too. it's the polite thing to do. lol.

3 days and counting...

okay, so tomorrow (well, technically today) is the first day of mass sale-card distribution.

hopefully a lot of you are here checking out the blog because you saw our sweet little note beside the link that said it was "brand new" on our main site. regardless, we want everyone to bookmark this site and check back all the time. we're going to try to make new posts at least every other day, most of which you'll just laugh about and shake your head wondering why.

but we're still pretty excited. tomorrow (or today) we'll be sending everyone on our friends list a comment about the sale and we'll also be doing some things with facebook as well.

we're going to be making a trip with larren to columbus to stay in a 2 bedroom suite (with a fireplaaaaaace) starting wednesday night so that bright and early thursday we'll be ready to take all your calls and schedule everyone in.

remember though, this will probably be your only chance to book a session with us this year - so don't miss out. if we don't meet our goal, then there will still be time...but we totally plan on it.

k...well, it's time for bed. check out a couple shots from the sweet suite (lol...wow) that we'll be blogging from later this week.

soooooooo….we finally have a blog and for our first post - we’re totally showing you how many sale cards we prepared this week! daaaaaaaang. are you ready for this number?

15,500 cards. and that’s literal, not figurative…lol.

there will be sale cards floating around all of the area schools this week equaling half the population of zanesville. hahahahaha….this rocks. and that brings us to the reason we wanted to start this blog so suddenly (we’re working on a breand new custom SICKKKK blog too by the way) and that was to blog the ENTIRE SALE from our “secret location” in columbus on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. this is going to be sooooo fun. we’re gonna be posting constantly to keep everyone posted and watch us waking up looking crazy and bed-headed. lol. it’s gonna own.

until then…check out these pictures (crappy quality from an iPhone, sorry) of the ENORMOUS amount of sale cards we just got in, and then distributed to our freaking AWESOME TMs this week. it was nuts getting these things together. we’ll be back with more ASAP.
